Hi all, I want to start selling on ebay but not sure where to start..
I would like to do this dropshipping.. not sure if i really want to buy in bulk yet, just sell 1 or 2 things at a time for a start!!
Can anyone help me on the subject & is anyone doing it & making $$$ from it, can it really work??

I started dropshipping in mid October last year on EBay. I absolutely love it. I have no plans to stock inventory. I run my Ebay business part time and do it for 1 - 2 hours in the evening. So far this month my Ebay sales are just over $3,000 which i think is pretty good considering I only do this part time. I sell various items with the most expensive being $70. I am loving doing it and as I add more items to my store I see my sales increase. All my items are dropshipped and most of them are dropshipped from China/Hong Kong.

I hope this gives you some confidence to start selling on Ebay.

can I ask how you found the suppliers over there? i have started on ebay also but have not sold a thing? what am I doing wrong

On ebay you really need to research your prices to ensure you have a competitive price with your markup profit built in. Sometimes the profit margins are very low when you are starting out. DO NOT start price wars by undercutting prices listed by other sellers otherwise all sellers for that particular item may lose out. I started dropshipping on ebay a few months ago and love it. I am grabbing around $700 sales per month on small items (not quite as good as webchick) however my sales are building each week and I am making some profit.

Can i ask what sort of items you are selling & which country you are sourcing from? I'm still not having any luck at all. Wasting so much time trying to find a dropshipper overseas also. Tried using www.tradekey.com but I'm not sure if they are all frauds!!

Hi Webchick, can you let me know what average margin you make on your $3,000 sales? I am considering subscribing to either Salehoo or World Wide Brands. Salehoo is $67.00 (US) per year and WWB is $299US for life.

I have a niche product line in mind but need to do some more research. Do you use either of these?
